Poem -

3am FALLING APART

Have you ever sat on a park bench
way before the morning can wrench this
night away

trying to peel the layers outside
covering this mess you left behind
slipping through broken heated fingers
years and days
no longer will linger

me this static art
placed between light and dark
inside boils another threat

creased pages
lines so long ago bit
written into fleshy mounds
which peer as ghostly foolish clowns
chipped gravestones
betray the birthmarks
shredded gravel noiseless crunching

have you ever fallen
APART
