A Bad Day

Broken boiler
Another bill that was unexpected
Stood in blood
On the way to the grocery store
And now I want to burn my leather boots
Whilst pulling out my brown hair
Because the milk in my fridge leaked everywhere
Another chore that I don't want to do
It is like Mercury is in retrograde
I'm having such a bad day
Can't I just hide?
Until the day is over
And my unlucky streak fades.

Hello K.G.
One of those days when one thing goes wrong the domino effect begins...
Everything goes wrong...
You want to go back to bed and wake up on the other side and try it again and you just can't do it...
Then you have to go outside and you think oh no...
Rethink this...
It'll get better, it'll be ok...
Sometimes it is and sometimes it's like oh if I survive this day that'll be a miracle in itself...
I definitely hope your day gets better but, we know that's a 50/50 chance...
Take the day slow and steady...
You'll be back in bed before you know it and tomorrow hopefully, will be better...
If it starts bad just plant yourself and for your sanity and peoples safety you shouldn't go anywhere or touch anything...
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...

Thank you so much :)
Very relatable as I have bipolar tendencies, little sparks quickly become BIG FIRES!
move been doing better lately but every now and then Murphy’s Law kicks in, we find discomfort in situations that easily could be looked at in a positive. You have a boiler that could break… you have the means to buy milk, you have milk that can be spilled… Not to take away from your “Bad Day” as I have been there with similar situations… A step back and an enjoyable hobby goes along way when I’m in these predicaments, or as you’ve done here… wrote a very relatable poem:) . It’s nice to know I’m not alone. Great write!
Thank you, I know and I don't want to sound ungrateful for what I have, just stupid things annoy me sometimes. Poetry is a form of processing for me as well and a way to comfort someone else who might be going through the same thing.
You did not come across ungrateful at all, I can relate to tough days.
