A BLACK MOON SHINES
Listen to the Druid's thumping drums
Hear the song bird's nervous cry
For on this warm August day
A Black Moon shines in the sky
As the Sun hides behind the shadow
Of Goddess Diana's silhouetted face
Pagans dance and sing in the twilight
Come join them and celebrate
For after the Solar Eclipse is over
There will be no guarantee
What once always was
Will forever always be

Doubt I'll get to see it either. I'll be at work. That's all I've been doing this summer; work,work and more work. Consequently haven't been on Cosmofunnel for awhile, and have been missing my reading my Cosmo friends' poetry. Hope to catch up later this fall when things begin to slow down.
