Letter Of Confession

Letter Of Confession

How do I tell you of my existence?
a truth that is hidden from light.
My identity  has been kept in the shadows of pain
and adoption has deemed me a stranger.
I am a puzzle in need of its missing piece,
lost in the shadows that showered no love.
Birth had misplaced me with strangers
and I was an unwrapped gift forced into the unknown.
Their blood doesn't surge through my veins
and truth is my only release.
As I reach my final destination in finding you,
I emerge from the lies and deception,
in deciding the hour in which you should know,
that I, am your sister.

A very deep and emotional write. A very skilful use of words to bring the emotion out of the story. Thumbs Up.
