A Day In My Life

A Day In My Life

As I walked down the street a boy caught my sight.Β
Something about him made me stare at him for a while.Β
His face was deformed and his dreams were crashed, yet his smile coped the stress.Β
I saw people rushing past him in fear,Β
"He is a monster" was all he could hear.Β
He stood there with his hands tied,
acting as a display for mankind.Β
I stood beside him to find out,Β
what was his story all about.Β
He walked towards me and whisperedΒ

"Are you also scared of me"Β

Unable to answer I gazed at his eyes,
what I saw was my 12 year old self in disguise
