A Day In My Life

A Day In My Life

As I walked down the street a boy caught my sight.
Something about him made me stare at him for a while.
His face was deformed and his dreams were crashed, yet his smile coped the stress.
I saw people rushing past him in fear,
"He is a monster" was all he could hear.
He stood there with his hands tied,
acting as a display for mankind.
I stood beside him to find out,
what was his story all about.
He walked towards me and whispered

"Are you also scared of me"

Unable to answer I gazed at his eyes,
what I saw was my 12 year old self in disguise
