A Delight For A Change

The trees nicely rustled in the summer breeze,
pleasant feeling and bon homie said please don't tease,
we were young and not a care in the world,
the time when there was a smile and toes curled.,
Love was unknown and someone said save a kiss for me,
we were so lucky and where we wanted to be;
remember your time, your days, your own ways,
which once seemed sweeter under the sun's rays.
Now the children fall upon us like wonderful,
we bounce them, tickle, as they all tug and pull;
we're still there back under that old tree,
nothing's changed, we both still have the mystery.
We wondered where we finally were so magical,
it turned out that we'd reached heaven after all.
