A Feather From the Sky

Torn by cruel disease, death has left his feet
Though the dark shadow has been carried away
To lay those to rest, to exhale one last breath
Silver lined wings, fly high as a feather floats oh so softly
It touches my lips of pink satin flesh, the kiss for cure
It gives me warmth from the blood curdling cold, for it is pure
Rich with hope and faith, that of tenderness
That of love, from the sky it

gently lands on the earths grave of salvation
Only a feather
Though so fair, it holds the greatest of strength in our hands
As the snowy white feather drifts through time
As the seasons change so must I
