"My wellness is securely underway,
with every step that's awkward,
I stop and pray.

I now laugh, play, and breathe in the Sun,
and I know my smile is genuine,
in this sober fun.

I'm picking up where my life left off,
and trying my best not to scoff,
at anything I know that will make me better.

This is the point of no return!
I threw the dope in the fire,
and I watched it burn.
A weight was lifted off of my shoulders,
I've found new peace,
a calmness of mind.
I'm not going to pick up,
today isn't the next time!
