A good nights sleep

Just as Im about to fall asleep
I hear a noise, I hear a creak
I get up and switch on the light
My trhoat dry and feeling thight

I hoarsley croak:"who is there?"
I can feel a draft of air
I tiptoe down to the living room
Feeling all scared and gloom

Would someone dare to brake in?
My legs and arms now shaking
And what do I see on the Sofa there?
My neighbours cat giving me a scare
