A Guiding Hand

A Guiding Hand

Sometimes fate just needs a helping hand,
don't expect miracles from the promised land;
if you do nothing, then nothing will happen,
I decided to love you - then you were happy.

Help me - tell me the choices I should make,
you know us guys, many of us are fake,
we lie, in order to preserve the status quo,
white or black, maybe 'a person of colour,' bro.

All the same, some fool said, 'We're in this together,'
must be that guy from Blackburn again, whether
he's right or not is a matter of conjecture,
but finally, you're not sure and I'm not sure.

That's it - we may just leave everything to fate,
but if you wish to change your mind, it's too late.
