A Happy Escape!

I know a young man
who'd like to fly with
'Peter Pan'
to 'Neverland'
Where at 'Pirates' play
for 'Evermore'
on an imaginary
sunshine shore
To live in bliss
of the 'Never' 
grown up kiss
To know fun and joy
as always a little boy
No real life trouble
to burst a 'Happy ever' bubble
And 'Captain Hook'
an exciting crook
to battle in a long game
To truly grow up 
such a sad shame
Then fairy 'Tinkerbell'
would cast her spell
and all could fly
with the birds
I know it seems absurd
A 'New' adventure everyday
a 'Childhood' to ever stay
no 'Reality' to spoil the way
And every clock
would have no dial
to call "Bed time!"
so no sense of rhyme
or proper reason or time
just friends at play
on a 'Never Ending'
'No School' day
Yes 'Too good'
to be true
but you know
I'd sometimes
like to be there too
I'm 'Wendy!'
