The Aviator

The Aviator

The Berlin Express, the Eiffel Tower, the power of flight, the enemy taken down, the year nineteen forty-four

As the air filled with smoke, the fire, but not one man, he tells the tale, that he didn't do it alone, it was the team, that was driven

Bringing in the victory, bringing in the peace, a veteran, a heroe, never dies, he is saluted, he is honored

For the memory of a man, a father, a husband, he might have been ninety-two, but in my heart he is a strong young man

Rest in peace, my dear old friend, the memory of WWll, and the memory of aĀ veteran of the air corp, the Aviator, may you fly high in the heavensĀ
