A NOTE TO DAD

When I fell down, and scratched my knee
He was there to catch me, he wiped away my tears
And he fought away all of my fears
He tied my shoes so I wouldn't trip over
But I always managed too.
Whenever I felt lonely he was always there
He showed me tenderness
He showed me care
He would braid my hair
And tuck me up into bed
He would place a kiss on my tiny little head
He taught me everything I needed to know in life
If anything went wrong
I know with him by my side I would be alright.
He's not just my dad
But also my very best-friend
He was there from the beginning
And will be there right up until the end.
