Poem -

All For You

All For You

I promised myself that you’d never have the life I didΒ
You’d never experience the things I did as a kid
You’ll never question the love I haveΒ
You won’t ever feel the absence of your dad
One day if you ask I’ll explain
I hope you never think that you’re to blame
Sometimes mums & dads just don’t work outΒ
And that’s fine
But I hope you always know that I’ve loved youΒ
The moment I saw that faint pink line

I was reborn the day you came into my life
That I only want to be the better version of me
And in time I hope you see
I do it all for you.Β
