Still Here

Despite it all
I made it through
Ending chapters of stories
Some never knew
Channeling my heart
Instead of chasing the dark
No longer stuck in a fixed reality.

I became more honest
More vulnerable
Choosing to face my mistakes
No longer run
Living life with love
Rather than with hate
Learning to embrace all my mistakes

Sometimes I got it wrong
However I’m proving what I knew all along
My strength
My courage 
My drive for a successful life
My blurred future 
Now seems clear 
I’m still standing
I’m still here.
