A place I could Never Forget

A place I could never forget is
where it’s just us for a hundred miles.
No school or work, no phones or cars;
Nothing for miles.
The place where Moose swim and dance,
Where birds sound like wolves,
And where bears sleep next to you.
Where the stars are so bright,
They are your only street lights.
The water is ice cold yet the sun so warm.
The mountains are tall, then there
Is you.
You in your little canoe,
just sitting in the middle of
Nowhere.
A fish jumps beside you, then it starts to
Rain. It rains a little harder,
Then comes the lightning on the top
of the hill.
No one for miles; nowhere is where you
Want to stay forever.
The place I will never forget;
There are no cars, or buses,
The only things around you and
your little canoe, are trees and water.
The only thing you hear at night is the
Water falling 100ft from the waterfall
Just across the lake.
Nowhere is where you want to stay
Forever.
Nowhere is the place I am
with you.
Nowhere is the place I will
never forget.
The air is so fresh,
And you with a paddle in hand,
Laughing and splashing.
Nowhere is the place you are you
And I am myself.
Float, hike, paddle and swim.
Nowhere is where anything is possible.
Icy cold water flowing over our toes,
as we sit around the fire it warms them up.
The smell of the smoke stuck in our
hair and clothes.
Nowhere is where you, our little canoe and
I are free.
You in your little canoe,
just sitting in the middle of
Nowhere.
Nowhere is where you want to stay
Forever.
Nowhere is the place I am
with you.
Nowhere is the place I will
never forget.
