A Poem About Sex

His sweat drips.
Heavy as caramel
Salty,
Sweet.
Coating your body like honey.
His hair,
Stuck to your lips,
Soft as velvet.
The taste of his kiss.
Lingering,
Lingering.
His tongue,
At the nape of your neck.
You take a breath,
Spine curved to the heavens,
His hand,
Safe beneath your back.
The air thick.
Creamed with vanilla,
Warmed by the pale glow
Of the 5am sun.
Muscles twist.
Purple lace
Pulled across your hips.
His mouth,
Warm
And
Slow.
Tracing the lines of your bones.
His lips,
Pulsing across your shoulders.
Pleasure.
Passion
An indulgent touch
Caressing your cheek.
Your feet tangled in sheets
With fingers intertwined
Above your head.
Like red roses growing from a flower bed.
You find his kiss,
And bite down on his lower lip.
He draws it from you
And you reel him back in.
Naked.
In the morningβs blush.
Shaking from the heat of it.
A mind laden with lust.
Chests
Rising
Moans
Gasping
Chests
Falling
Hearts
Throbbing
Tongues
Obeying.
You take it in turns.
Tasting one another.
As alluring as red wine
As enticing as cocoa.
Birds begin to sing,
From outside your carnal cocoon.
And you wish.
Hope.
Pray
For the return of the moon.
