A Positive Mindset!

I keep my eyes open wide on the prize
careful not to blink just in case i do not rise

but who knows on the flipside i might make it big
cos i was brought up rough & rugged when i were a kid

anything can happen in life maybe ill get spotted
by an author to publish my work before my corpse as rotted

it would be nice to have some of the finest things in life
i know material isnt everything but it could ease my strife

imagine selling thousands of copies from all of your poems
have more income instead of seeing alot of outgoings

wouldnt mind a full time job from the poetry i write
cos ive got so many poems that would fill a book in a night

so this is the reason i remain positive to get out what i give
give the best life for my daughter for as long as we live
