A Quiet Pint (Alcohol Solution)

Sitting here, drinking beer and chilling,
Pondering on the nature of God.
I'm stuck inside. I'm getting bored,
Yet I have it relatively good.
I like to think the world is placid
And has our interests at its heart
And yet for many around the world
Times are lonely and things are hard.
Fear of disease is everywhere
And no-one knows quite what to do.
We have been brought to our knees
When will this illness go?
Does it matter if we pray?
Perhaps it's better to wash our hands.
For now I drink my beer alone
Till this disease has left the land.
(I have alcohol solution handwash
In the bathroom).

You sound like you have this shut down under controlled. I like the positive tone to the poem, or could that be the beer, laughing and smiling.
