A Rainbow

To a rainbow life compare
When available I stare
In the moment for all to share
But a meaning I cannot
A deeper feeling I do not dare
The darkness that surrounds
Held together in colour bounds
This beauty without sounds.
A glow of colour
Through its surrounds does shower
The red of anger around
This never does not astound
The orange of bright
Shines at night in full sight
Yellow is glowing
Staring down at us nobody following.
Green is symbolical they cried
Of pastures the other side.
But let the truth be known
That this has never shown.
The blue is stunning in the middle
Almost like this strange riddle
Indigo a different colour
But is definitely in the row
Violet at the end
But not the last my friend
As this could be the first
Depending how you look at it as the colours begin to burst
Like our life
We can begin or end with strife.

Lovely write Mark. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
I agree with Cleo, a beautiful poem dedicated to the meaning and the effects of color in our lives.
