A Reflection of Myself

I am blinded yet I can see
Through sights of vision inside of me
A reflection of my naked whole
Inked on a page that bares my soul
Feelings that stir within my mind
Like the ebb and flow of an ocean's tide
My pen wields feelings I yearn to say
Into streams of passion that find my way
With thoughts that spread furthermore
Like the tidal waters of a distant shore
My words weigh heavy like a sunken wreck
With treasures of gold upon its deck
But it's not the depth of the ocean's floor
Or even the crest of the water's wealth
For it's not the moment of devine truth
It's just a clear reflection of myself

Hello Dennis, welcome to Cosmo :) I loved reading your poem and felt the flow was really smooth and fluid. Your imagery really sinks the reader into your thoughts beautifully. THEN I watched the video and WOW I simply loved this so much! Inspiring and truly creative. It has such atmosphere to it. Pinning because I WILL enjoy watching that again
