A Sonnet To A Secret Love

Oh for the joys of a sacred scented kiss,
From long-lost lips, I secretly miss,
A friendship cast In time forgotten space.
Torn from a rose like falling silk lace,
If summer is the time of love? shine on.
Through chilling leaves falling that fall upon.
The earth beckons us all to hug, sweet love
Like fire embers, warm to touch, cold enough
To recall the time when first we fell,
Flittering in love that only time will tell.
A sweet dream, dreary, once lost and longing,
Like lilies of the pond, beauty, seasons belonging
Oh for the past to love and live again,
Is this feeling of love, joy from the purest of pain.
