A TIN OPENER'S LIFE

Fancy some tinned fruit for your evening tea ?
That's when I'm needed the most as you will see
Maybe to start you will have beans from a tin
I am the one who will let this process begin

Give the tin lid a little poke and a little push
Turn me clockwise there's really no need to rush
Once the lid is open your contents are there
What you do with them I honestly don't care

Once I'm used I'll be kept safe in a drawer
Hard being a tin opener that's certainly for sure
Fancy houses have me attached to a wall
I prefer being in a drawer but that is your call
