A WINTERS DREAM

A WINTERS DREAM

Frosty windows, ground dusted with snow
virginal white not a footprint to show
A landscape pristine with winters nuance
a windĀ blowsĀ silvered trees in seasons dance

A glistening panorama of beauty to behold
like the Claude Monet art The Magpie, from old
The snow blanket`s over the grass of greenĀ
picture perfect a winters dream, serene

A peaceful silence as snowflakes, fall from sky
no sun to see only grey clouds up high
Chills the bones but cheeks have redden glow
children happy playing, building man of snow

Hibernation for animalsĀ food stored to last
warm in earth till return of spring, andĀ cold hasĀ pastĀ
A portrait of winter painted, with mine eyesĀ
no bleakness,Ā The sightĀ for I,Ā tisĀ nature`sĀ prize

Hi Debs,

WOW!!! This is absolutely beautiful and I`m so proud of you sweetie. Fabulously well written and beautifully thought through, I adore this one. I love the picture, the whole piece is simply stunning sweetie. Cherie is spot on, it will make a gorgeous Christmas card and so much more personal than mass produced cards, a really lovely card for someone special. Well done.

I love ya kiddo
