Addiction

Addiction

When I think about you

my heart begins to race.Β

We have this love hate relationship

nothing can take your place.

You make me forget about the painful memoriesΒ

that I kept alive inside my head.

Soon these feelings of guilt and shame

have me wishing I was dead.

I have many things to be thankful for

but my mind's to blind to see.

This disease slowly eats at my soul

as I'm dying inside to break free.
