Adopted love

Adopted love

Born in the wrong place,
Born in the wrong time,
It's a disgrace I was misplaced.
I was happy for a short while
Keeping a brave face and
Always faking a smile.
I slipped and cried one day realizing all along I kept this way to deep inside.
Bleeding from my heart
My body consumed,
Kinda like a solider with a battle wound.
Look a little closely and you can see my hands shaking wild,
I don't think I'm gonna make it back this time, signed yours truly
