Poem -

Aged.

Aged.

How did I get to my age?

With all the mistakes I've made.Β

My body had become it's own cage.

Too old for a surgeons blade.Β

Have I just misspent this life given?

Have I been a good father?

My biography is best left un-written.Β

So many years I didn't bother.Β

Can't take back the years I've spent.Β

Seems now I've reached the end.Β

I'll march on though stubbornly adamant.Β

My healths not degrading I'll pretend.Β

So these will be my final wishes.Β

Try and forgive this old fool.Β

Remember the hits and forget the misses.Β

Make my final words something cool.Β
