am i so different from you
though i look different
our blood is the same color
we breath the same air
so much energy wasted on hate
love is cast aside
do you love your family
like i love my family
do you have friends
like i have friends
do you love them
like i love them
so i ask
we are strangers
why do you hate me
we all got so much in common
we both love those that are close to us
i am a friend in which
you have not taken the time to get to know
so if we both can love
why do you hate me
when love and friendship
can make the world a better place
take a chance to get to know
someone who is different from you
you might be suprised
on what you might recieve
give love a chance
and forget how to hate
