Not easy having a name such as mine 
Certainly not ideal and definitely not fine
So many jokes it's now wearing very thin 
For my name dear friend is Amanda Lynn

I'm not in a ensemble or play in a band 
What were my parents thinking I don't understand 
It could always be worse I have to say 
Met a lady named Mel Odeon yesterday 

So having a musical name is not very good 
Taken both ways it can be misunderstood
Parents think hard before you give out a name 
Musical names only cause misery and shame
