Today the twentieth day of January 2017
A big day in the history of United States
The inauguration of the 45th President
The whole world holds its breath
Nobody knows what to expect anymore
Today marks the beginning of an inevitable
four-year journey with Donald Trump
A shadow has been cast over this great coutry
The gloom deepening each passing second
Never has Americans disagreed so strongly
We feel their pains and pray for them
He has pleged to make America greater than ever
Who knows he keeps the promise he has made?
It's possible he does the unexpectedÂ
And then becomes the best in history
After all, his winning was unforeseen
Some things are just unprectictable
Even when we think we can read times and signs
Pray, love, trust and support him
America the greatest would stand tall
If it goes down the world follows
God forbid such happensÂ
We'd rather the tenure cut short
I have hope for this great nation
No matter what happens
In God we trust!

Sorry it took a little while to respond, but I had to go out of town Friday. Â Your poem is very beautiful, and I appreciate your well-wishing for America. Â However, I don't trust Trump, for he is a puppet of Putin. Â Russia wanted him to become President and got him elected illegally by hacking private servers and pouring lots of cash his way. Â Starting yesterday, and for the next week or ten days, I will be posting anti-Trump works. Â I cannot support such a monster, but I will always be here to support you.

Sorry I'm responding late too although it's due of circumstances beyond my control...I believe in America. I too don't trust Trump too but I believe something good might come out of his being the president. After all it was never expected. The pen is the best way to pour out your heart...You have my love and support all the way...

This is a superb piece sweetie and like you I pray for America and just hope that he turns out to be a great man for all Americans. We can`t see into the future, we can only hope and pray that he does a great job and therefore does the whole world some good too.Â
