Poem -
I Won't Fall
When darts hit my heart
Itβs hard to just disregard
I then wonder where to start
l look yonder to the stars
My feet are tempted to move
But deeply I plant them not be moved
For how long can I withstand the heat?
Or allow myself to take the beat
I know life is filled with hurdles
The blow sometimes is unacceptable
But there are times when things are merry
Not a care in the world, my face is jolly
And when things go haywire
I have memories of good times
Β To my relief tough times arenβt forever
I strongly believe Joy comes soon to take over
I will stand tall and waitβ¦I wonβt fall
