Happy Poem
With heart heavy and everything going awry
I choose to be happy
Looking around and I really want to cry
I choose to happy
It seems as if my situation is worse
I choose to be happy
But it might not be that bad I observe
I choose to be happy
Of course there are down times
I choose to be happy
When nothing seems to work those times
I choose to be happy
And then sometimes the heart is merry
I choose to be happy
In this case all sadness is buried
I choose to be happy
A realization I have arrived at
That happiness is a choice
It starts right from the heart
And spreads without your choice

One of my favorite songs, is one from the late 1980's, called "Don't Worry Be Happy", by Bobby Mcferrin.Β Β
It illustrates your lovely poem perfectly, saying that when faced with adversity,
"don't worry, just be happy".
