An Angel Named Hope

I remember the day we brought you home wrapped so tightly in that little pink blanket. I held you close and whispered in your ear, daddy loves you with all his heart and I cried as you snuggled in close. well I guess heavens got a new angel with a heart made of gold, well I guess heavens got a new angel and her name is Hope. I’m left here wondering why you had to go I'm so proud my baby girls an Angel, your mom and me we cried the day that you passed. I remember screaming your name and begging it was me instead. I still cry every night thinking about you and wishing I could trade places with you, and be lying there instead.
