Poem -
And I'm Melting
You are my sub-zero tundra
You are freezing, but eerily welcoming
Void of any sunshine, but beautiful
Distant and vicious, you captivate all things golden
Forever, I am stranded in the ice
and yet I refuse all helping hands
because I secretly enjoy the bittersweet numbness
of being caught in your snowstorms.
We've always thrived in the cold, you and I.
