Anemone

(melody is to music, what imagery and feeling is to poetry)
H. de Balzac
Anemone
my love flows sober,
but my lust is pure
agony
you've come to
symbolize all that
is holy
Anemone
I kiss the bitterness
and taste your sweet lips
that gift
tragedy and
experience
I do truly adore
your infinite
caress!
Anemone
I am a hostage
to your love
warm celestial
solitude
Intoxicating
quaint half sleep
murmuring songs
of innocence
Anemone
my lasting memories
begin to ravish
sensual delight
into voids
enhanced and defiant
inflicted
beheld lovingly
within
midsummer's ancient
reprisal
lost dreams
Anemone
your dark heart
purifies
the disdain and angst
that stains
my soul's eternal
weakness
entrenced
life's wounded
amorality
born into
perfect
suffering
unreasonable
illusions
that ache
a sadistic
temperament
time unleashed
as gently as death
becomes visionary
in her great
ambient
silence
awoken
from this
sad wilderness
Anemone
give us wisdom
decreed
between your
open legs
a gateway to pathways
forgotten
vengeance
but never
shall we
repent
Anemone
now fly away
wasted like a
day in time
serene wanderings
to the otherside
reflects unusual
madness
in language
that speaks softly
of the night's
chosen foolish
gesture's
now arise
like the
shadows of
impermanence
Anemone
