Angel

Angel

With sacred wings,

she floats above skyline.

She watches over him,

guiding him through his path.

Each time he thinks of her,

he feels her presence.

Her bright aura gives him a sense of warmth.

She’s his angel; his caretaker; his love.

He stares at her picture as he lies down with watery eyes,

craving to be with her.

Patiently she awaits his darkest hour;

the moment when they will reunite once more.
