Angel

Angel

I love her.

I make promises to her everyday.

I know what she's been through, even if i haven't seen it all.

I've heard her cry and it pains me.

I've heard her laugh and it fills me with bliss.

I'm sure that she's an Angel.

She watches over me.

No matter what I do, she's there,

No matter where I go, she follows,

When it rains, she stands by the door "Don't forget your coat"

When the sky is dark she says "Be careful out there!"

I want to hold her.Ā She is aĀ child, with the beauty and love that only a child can hold.

She is a child at heart, but she is a mother to me.

And when the day is over, I hug her and say

"You are my inspiration"

She tucks me into bed and kisses my forehead,

With a shake of her head says softly,

"I love you"

I hope one day, I canĀ understand a mother's love.
