She said her prayer's
Then lay down in bed
Snuggled up to her teddy
And rested her head
Gave me a smile
A kiss and a hug
Said goodnight mammy

Sweet dreams I said back
I'll be in them with you
Flying together,wing's on too
Happy and tired
She closed her blue eye's
My own little angel
Who give's me my smile's
As I watch her drift off
My heart filled with love
Then I thanked god
For my angel sent from above
