Angelic Symbol

Angelic Symbol

Whenever I have a quiet moment
You appear from out of the mist
Your stunning image, angelic smile
The memory of your tender kiss

My mind starts racing when I recall
How I held you in my eager arms
You took me away to places unknown
Filled with your many sweet charms

To the midnight sky filled with stars
The brightest star was you, sweet you
Floating high above, an angelic symbol
Of pure love, innocence, and truth

Never before and surely not since
Have I experienced such utter bliss
Seemed like we'd never kissed before
Each one was like our very first kiss

Recalling these moments over again
Remembering the passion that flowed
What joy to relive those ecstatic feelings
When raw emotions begin to explode
