Poem -
Animated Chatter
There is animated chatterΒ
among the trees today;
the wind has stirred the conversation
as it cavorts among the leaves β
teasing, twisting, mocking,
telling its wild stories
from the far away lands
that it has travelled
and will travel again.
Oh, how the wind bellows
its gusty songs
and how the leaves giggle
and how they jiggle and wiggle
as they're tickled
by its fingers of frivolous breeze.
Oh, the wind is a riot!

Hi Greg!Β I am so happy you like this, my dear friend, thankyou for your sweet words of encouragement it is very much appreciated.Β To be honest, POP isn't my kind of place ...I tend to post here on Cosmo, my fb page or Northern Poetry ...but mostly Cosmo because I guess it's where my poetry heart is. Where there is a spark there can be flames so I will stay and poke the embers around here for a bit longer π But thank you for the suggestion and I will bear it in mind xx
I like Cosmo to and I will always stay here until the end but I do like passion of poetry and I wonder about that site you just said northern poetry I may look into that just look I Cosmo is my home to Β I will never leave

Tina I am so sorry to be late, I love the playfulness you have given the wind in this fun write. There is movement in your words that sweep the reader through its journey. Almost like the wind is gossiping as it jostles by. Wonderful and creative my talented friend xxΒ

Your lovely poem had me hearing the whistling winds passing through the trees, and the chorus sung by the their "jiggling, giggling" leaves.Β It exemplifies the beautiful sounds of Mother Nature.
