ALONE
In the dark, where light can't reach,
A lonely soul finds comfort in deep.
By blackened rocks, at morning's light,
He finds his peace in endless delight
Stars fade above, the blue sea below,
In shadow beauty, his own spirit grows.
Though darkness reigns, his heart takes off
In the open sky and cool wind, he whispers
Alone he stands, yet not so blissful
Embraced by sky and ocean's might.
The darkness holds him, yet sets him free,
A whispered peace in the boundless sea.
