"APOCRYPHAL"

I could never seem to justify the hint behind her eyes
The way the dark glimmer appeared to be the light
And the ways she instigated love and touching tongues
Oh so slightly, always just slyly, compelling me to melt away
Into the land of her silken sheets and her hair strewn across my chest
I could never quite get my head around her mysterious movement
It was as though she held some obscure secret
Inspired........but not divine

She hailed from a land of moonlit summer nights
Where holding a naked, beating heart of pleasure
Was simple and quite commonplace
Though looking at her seemed more than enough
I could not help but feel her deception, see it in her face
And the closer I came to unveiling her voluptuousness
The further she drew away, she was playing with my senses
Caressing me so sensually that I lost my way in her femininity
And locked away my faith
My innocence was gone
Along with her questionable authenticity..........
