She was a pretty teenage sensation,
Her poetry earned high distinction
Whatever happens in life, she swear,
Only thing she was blessed well care,
In the transience of moody sadness,
Within a silence of lyrical madness
- Bella (Izabella) Akhatovna Akhmadulina,
- Russian poetess
- Born on 10 April 1937
- Died on 29 November 2010
She did not walk flanked by raindrops.
But, fully involved in literary row pops,
Between official organs, new reformers,
Making every move in public preachers
She won the top prize for her collections,
Nominated for many literary selections
- Bella (Izabella) Akhatovna Akhmadulina,
- Russian poetess
- Born on 10 April 1937
- Died on 29 November 2010

Dear Cherie,
For more than 40 years, the poet Bella Akhmadulina, who has died aged 73, was a regal, even sainted presence on the Moscow literary scene. She was practically unique, because it was simply not done to speak ill of her, no matter what one's position in official or unofficial hierarchies. She had an aura to which everyone deferred.
Poetess Bella was born in Moscow to a father of Tartar lineage and a mother of Russian-Italian stock, both of them well-placed servants of the Soviet bureaucracy.
I have a plan to write on world renowned poets and poetess along with their poems in a column in COSMO, I shall do it shortly, probably someone can suggest a column title. like " WORLD POETS ", Your support and suggestions are most welcome
Regards & Love
