APRIL SHOWERS: DAY 4 WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES, FOR I NOW REMAIN LIKE A BURNING FLAME
In your deep blue eyes,
A scorching fire is crackling
Its abstain as I bring to mind
A love, a mystic love
Perhaps not that much, so insane.
Beside this fireside you tenderly
Caressed my body and we simmered;
Then we touched, felt against each other
Warmth was our realm
My heart now pulses rhythm
With a rain shower which beat
On top of my window pane.
Pouring is the longing in my breast
Give me a drop of a blazing fire.
The warmth of your embraces
Soon would fade and diminish.
You left, but images are dry like bone.
Ash flush in dancing flames, undressed.
I wish with all my soul that
I were blessed to have you here again,
for I remain now like a burning flame
