APRIL'S PINK FULL MOON

March’s spring equinox has replaced winter’s gloom

Green grass sprouts and the pink phlox blooms

Underneath the light of April’s pink moon

The fourth month proves that leprechaun’s can be right

Indeed there is such a thing as a pink satellite

Look above my sweet little children

A lucky charm shines in the middle of the night

Note;  April’s Pink Moon, also called the Egg Moon, Sprouting Grass Moon or Easter Moon, is named after pink wild flowers called wild ground phlox, which bloom in early spring and become widespread throughout the U.S. around this time of year.

This spring’s full moon is still set to be special for it shares the sky with a very bright Jupiter.
