Poem -

Are You Sorry Now?

Are You Sorry Now?

Pushing me down;
hands upon my chest.
Making his way 'round,
Laying me to rest.
He tells me to be quiet;
Not say a word.
So I just lay there,
Scared as a bird.

If only you knew
The things he would do,
You'd be sorry...

Are you sorry now?
Sorry you wouldn't listen?
Would you even care
If I went missing?
Look me in the eyes,
In a world of despise.
Even you'd say "wow".
Are you sorry now?

I walked home alone,
Crying without a moan.
Made it home at last,
While they passed judgment fast.
They said I got what I deserved,
Should've kicked them to the curb.
If I lied, you would know,
I was just afraid to say no.

What would you do
If he did this to you?
A stranger taking your life,
Like stabbing you with a knife.
Nowhere to run,
Nowhere to hide.
Now it's time
For you to decide... Are you sorry now?

Now that you know how I feel,
I expect you to kneel.
Tell me how
You're sorry now...
