Armageddon

Someone drew the wrong weapon, play music,
The cry of the valkyries, one of life's mysteries;
someone missed the subtleties, just didn't twig,
didn't recognise judgement, God was wearing a wig.

They sent Vincent D'Onofrio along to solve the case,
from 'Law and Order,' what went wrong with the human race, 
riots everywhere, natural disasters, hate and pandemics,
when he looked at the old boxes, they all had ticks.

But someone got it wrong, it was you wasn't it?
Vincent put his face close at his usual twisted angle,
no place to hide, your last silly wish - a fandango,
dance your way out of this mess, the good old Alamo.
