Arrow Send This Message

Arrow Send This Message

Sharpened by stone, the arrow and the bow, I carry it in stride

I know I shall release it and my message be sent into the driven sky

Our brave men brought life to this earth, then death followed

Though our skin dark, our hair black, our eyes shades of many

Tribes kept their spirit, through hardships along the way

Now I shoot this arrow across the plain, where it shall land

And feel the earth once again, and man will know we have made our mark

The native hand who farmed this land, and gave it the history of today
