To cast a shadow over the light of a newborn dream
Is the act of destroying your fate
With feelings of melancholy awash with pain
A feeling you try to sedate.
When you cry with unwanted agony
That echo's lightly in the mind
You are searching, grasping, clinging to something
That you feel you need, to survive.
The dream has changed, it was almost obsession in the past
The pain too sore to bear in your heart
You feel thankful for it's brief appearance
when you feel like you're falling apart.
One day you will wake up and see the reality
That not everyday will hurt this bad
Not everyone wants to harm you
Not everyone needs to make you sad.
Loneliness and attachment will subside
you wont remember the scorn
Happiness will shine through your eyesÂ
And renew your essence like a new dawn.

It's kinda weird how fate (I don't really believe in fate) could lead me to pick up my phone and log in at this exact moment. It's as if God put it there as an answer (I don't believe in God either).Â
