As a mirror

As a mirror

As much as winter comes with frost autumn brings a lightened heart

In the wims of a lullaby where flowers blooming start,

long summers in the stormy rain, make sense of my lonesome thought,

In some dreaming state of love, where my heart is caught

I watch the leaves falling, and as a mirror so do I,

catch within the deep affection of his precious eyes

The skies make subtle changes from blackish blue, with ivory trim,

and where I sat an ponder love, all my thoughts of him

I sit in total silence, only breathing breaths correspond with life

And where my heart does wonder most, in thought to be his wife

I've loved beyond the shadows seasons, and in my heart found all the reasons,

to love him with a tenderness confirmed by soul to air

I see the beauty of his being and no season could compare.
